Mmmh... there's something to this, but still... I think in Pacha Mama the vocalists are just chanting 'ea, ea, ea, ea' while in North Star it's actually 'we are, we are, we are' because, as has been discussed elsewhere on this board, the lyrics no North Star obviously aren't 'eeeeeyaaaaaahooooo' as many, including me, probably think/thought, but actually 'we are home'. Apart from that, the chanting is admittedly quite similar. Still, I'm not sure Mike thought of that when writing Pacha Mama. And BTW, I think Philip Glass' North Star is great, but it's a typical early Glass minimalist kind of thing, while Mike's version is, well, a typical Mike kind of thing. The two versions don't really have that much in common.
