The reason why I bought it is because I love how the remixed version of TB sounds, especially part 1. But if you're happy with the versions you have on the single CDs, and you have all of the 'Collaborations' tracks [or you're just not interested in them... ] it's useless. There's one thing you should keep into account, though: the 3 discs in Boxed are encoded in quad. While these mixes really work only on a quad system, or on a player connected to a 5.1 home theatre system, IMHO they sounds 'better' (clearer, greater spatial definition) than the single CD mixes even on an ordinary stereo system. -------------- Ugo C. - a devoted Amarokian Back to top

I found it in a second-hand record store and it was absolutely the last thing I expected to find. I wanted it because of the nice book, and because of the almost zero chance I'd ever find another one. I had to buy it there and then, I might not be able to get it again.  The LP's  and book are virtually immaculate, I'll have to transfer them onto tape, so that they stay that way   . Salut, Si tu es fan de Mike, alors je te dis de l'acheter. Sur Ebay, tu peux trouver le coffret Boxed 33tours pour quelques euros et le coffret CD pour pas cher également. Si tu te le procures, écoute The Sailor's Hornpipe....c'est une version très spéciale.....l'originale je crois! De toute façon, 45 euros.....cela me paraît un peu cher!
