Very good, congrats. I like that Enya-ish (and also a bit Blackmore'sNight-ish) vibe through the whole piece. :) The only thing I'd suggest you to adjust is the bass line, as it seems to be very slightly off beat - or is it supposed to be that way? ;)

ha! i like it. i love the melody. it's as simple as they get, but it works great. of course some better samples definitely wouldn't hurt. good job.

Reminds me a little of the bit on Hergest Ridge Part 2 after the guitar thunderstorm before the voices section. I love it! The lack of in-timeness also is a little bit of a bother for me too, but I don't think the strings are too loud. Not for me anyway. Other than that, the overal composition and layering is very very good! I love how it switches from flute to piano.

Great work! I hope you make more songs to put up here!

it's not bad, definitely not bad, I could just imagine this recorded with real instruments...that would be sweet...

good work!

though technically I could have some remarks...like some clipping here and there, and quality of some samples ;)

btw...maybe you could give out a midi file?

Nifty stuff! Great melodywriting there. Maybe you can adjust the volume levels of the instruments, but that's a minor quibble. A hint - try listening to the track from different sources, on different speakers, on headphones, etc. There are details that you might miss the first time around that you would capture later on. The strings at the end do sound a bit hard on the ear.

And don't let the quality of the samples haunt you. As long as the music sounds like it was written rather than generated, there shouldn't be many problems.
