This track is in the vein of A Floating Rose. It's not as catchy as AFR but IMHO much better mixed.

Hi Tibor,

Nice tune, well instrumented. A catchy mood.

Which software and hardware do you use?

Btw, the link on your homepage to your music on Soundclick returns a 404 error. Could you please provide the right link? ;)

Regards,

The only hardware I use is my PC. :) Regarding software, I still use Renoise tracker and in this track I used almost solely Edirol Orchestral VSTi.

Thank you for pointing it out. I fixed it, the right link: my SoundClick page
Those are quite old music of mine, though. Not that they are bad. :)

A Floating Rose is still my favourite, this comes in a close second though, a really nice track.

This was such a wonderful surprise for me today to discover such interesting music. I like the theme of nature and that your music evokes many spiritual feelings. It's so good it's on my ipod!! Well done to you EeTon. Looking forward to more! :)

I'm surprised to find I haven't commented on this - so here goes.

I love the way it starts - the harp sound is perfect; the natural sounds are a lovely introduction. The melody is plaintive with a touch of the folk tradition to give it roots.

Now here's my question. When the harp has begun, the main theme is introduced, played by an organ-like instrument. I keep wondering what it would be like if that were a flute or whistle - a more airy, lighter, sweeter, breathier instrument. I suppose I'm imagining something closer to birdsong. Did you experiment with different instruments for that main theme? Have you thought of trying others?

It's supposed to be a viola, even if it doesn't sound quite like it. ;) Now I tried some other instruments but neither of them seemed to work, at least I don't have a decent flute sound for the task at the moment.

Regarding birds, I have a still unfinished piece about them, though it's more upbeat. ;)

EDIT: Wow! It's my 666th post here. ;)
