That's a very impressive cover! It's clever, of course, in that it shows the rotated bell symbol is a 4. The central part of the symbol also looks quite heart-like, which ties in with my oft-repeated theory that the Tubular Bells albums are about the chakras, and that the fourth one would be the Heart Chakra.
The right arm of the symbol is a little curved, too, implying flexibility, which (so they tell me) is important with love.
This cover is like that of the original Tubular Bells in that it shows an actual landscape, as opposed to the more abstract covers of TB2 and TB3. I suppose the terminally ignorant could confuse the new cover with that of the original TB, but I'd be inclined to say that that would be their problem!
Finally, I note the presence of the four traditional elements (earth - bottom left corner), fire (top left corner), water (that's a sea in the background), and air (the whole thing is in the air). I suppose when Tubular Bells 5 comes along the hard part will be trying to depict the fifth element, quintessence.
