I was listening to one of my MO albums for the first time in a while and suddenly realised that I was trying to sing along, but it was an instrumental! After racking my brains I come up with Honest by Band of Skulls. Anyone care to guess which MO track I was listening to.

Weightless! I'm not over-familiar with Band of Skulls, but can't say I've ever heard them wax lyrical on Mike's behalf. They do have the honour of giving me my first and only 100% completion on Expert level in Guitar Hero, but as that was playing bass guitar on I Know What I Am...

taste & Cavalier (Lost Version), thank you for the fun challenge and the solution for it. The song sounded very familiar, but I just could figure out from where. I guess I should have listened to the B sides of the Tubular Bells albums more.
