Download the MIDI files and print the score. They're similar to the original as much as they can.

You can buy those - there are books for both Tubular Bells II and III. The Tubular Bells III one can be bought from mikeoldfield.org, or amazon.co.uk used to sell both...but it seems they only have Tubular Bells II now.

I know about midi files but they're aren't accurate (at least the 5 'the top of the morning' files I have). Could someone scan 'the top of the morning' from the songbook for me?

It's nice to know that someone else from Poland visits these boards!

When I looked closely into 'the top of the morning' score I realised that it's not 100% accurate to the original. I mean the bass track (left hand) beginning from the page 2 is very poor. There are only single sounds (notes) but on the album it's more advanced , at least double notes. Is the TBIII songbook made or approved by Mike or just made by 'someone'?

you can't obviously make any piece of MOs exactly like the way it sounds on a CD. he has several things going at the same time, so it's impossible (unless you have more than 2 hands) to play what is being heard. Even in Top of the Morning, there is more than piano being played. Thats why you need to improvise and make up some more to the left hand if you think you can.

You misunderstood me. I meant the piano track which is on the cd isn't written accurately in the songbook. The right hand is ok, but the left is too "poor". And I mean only the piano. I know there are many instruments used in that song.
Got it now?
