I want to see more Tubular Bells logo merchandise!  Here are some examples:

Tie tacks
Lapel pins
Buttons
Stickers
Decals
Patches
Lanyards
Guitar straps
T-shirts
Jackets
Ties
Belt buckles
Hat pins
Medallions
Rings
Watches
Lunchboxes (hey, why not?)

What do you think?  What would you buy from this list?  What would you like to see?

Yes and cars with TB design on their bonnets where the lamps close the ends of the bent bell. ;)

Or, automotive exhaust systems based on the Bent Bell.

Seriously, when I first saw the cover of "Tubular Bells", it made me think of some sort of motorcycle exhaust pipe.

[insert sound effects of motorcycle cops revving their bikes and turning on the sirens from "Crises" here]

You're certainly not alone in this matter. One of my friends was asked once why there is an exhauster on his T-shirt. ;)

I want a replacement for my DarkStar polo shirt I keep it as a reminder but I can't wear it anymore, too thin and worn. I got the Then and Now tour T shirt but its "shrunk" and the cardigan's zip bust.I know I can make one myself but they always look homemade.

On seeing the twisted bell, someone unfamiliar with the album once told me he was convinced it was a kind of marital aid. Now there's a merchandise idea which I suspect won't be followed up on...

Reminds me a bookstore that I recall that for years had a section labelled "Marital Arts". Alas, all of the books in this section featured Ninjutsu and Kung Fu and the like.... NOT Kama Sutra.

A never mind the Branson t shirt, with the safety pin piercing's replaced by the twisted bell.

I sure any budding guitarist would love some sort of Oldfield effects pedal.  No longer would you need to fart round with patches or tweak your mid range and treble knobs.  Just to get a tone that doesn’t cut it.
I know there’s Eric Clapton and Hendrix pedals out there, maybe others I don’t know.  I just wish they’d do an Oldfield pedal with 4 or 5 of his tones would be enough to satisfy my lust for that sound.

Er, tubular bell earrings or perhaps a brooch...? <scurries away rather quickly>

And for the trekkies,  how about an Enterprise model with the bent bell as the engines so the two ends stick out the back like nacelles?

My Then & Now shirt seems about the same, but it has always been tighter than I like to wear (was one of the women's t's), so I don't wear it all that much. I'm with x-donna and Tati--lots n lots of t-shirts! :D

So...my list would include what everyone else has said, with a special emphasis on t's, necklaces, earrings (indeed, tubular_trekkie! ), ahh...and magnets. Last night, there were some MO-related magnets and mugs over on ebay.

BTW....I had lost my TB necklace the January before last, but found another one when I was cleaning out a drawer a couple months back (I had bought several, thinking I'd make earrings out of them). Woo-hoo! Would like more, though.

But more than anything, I'd like a magnetic tubular bell decal for the new bell-less Amarok car. It's a bit traumatic to be bell-less! :/ If it were magnetic, it could be transferred from car-to-car. But....it would have to hold up as well as the permanent decal (pictured for now in my profile), which made it through rain, sleet, snow, car washes, everything--even a tornado! :O

Ah....and guitar picks depicting (or would that be de-picking ha ha ha) tubular bells. The new Rush 30 DVD deluxe came with two commemorative guitar picks. How kewl was that???? Would love to see some with bells on them. :)

Where did you get one of these???? I'd love to have something like that. I've made my own out of paper and put them on the car, but even with clear plastic over them, they fade out soon. Until then, I'll consider finding your LeBaron in the junkyard and getting it in some sort of running shape just to have a good bell decal on the trunk lid.

Also, have you ever seen anyone else with a TB sticker on a car aside from yourself?

I want the Mike Oldfield signature PRS guitar. With a bent bell inlaid on the neck somewhere. I'd buy it. And I don't even play.
