Well, I've been wondering about other people's opinion.

What performances from Ommadawn are better?
The ones he used to do in the early 80's, or the ones
that were performed in 1999?
The ones from the Motreux, Knebworth and Rosklide?
or the ones from Stokolm, Katowise and Colenoge?

Let's take 2 examples:

Knebworth festival (1980)

or

Katowise ( Check minute 3:22 )

The performances form the 80's have some diferences from the original version. I like them more. I think the versions he plays in the 80's make Ommadawn (one of his bests pices of music) be enven more powerfull than what it allready is.
The new versions only make a live version for what he did back in 1975.
I prefer the old live versions ^^

Roskilde 82 version is one of best imo

I always wanted to make a poll to see which is the best Ommadawn live performance.
But first we have to make a list of all the live versions of Ommadawn. Can everybody help me ?
I'll start a small list:

Preston Guild Hall 23/05/1980
Dublin 31/05/1980
Hannover 1981
Bremerhaven 11/01/1982
Cologne 1982
Roskilde 1982

I think these live versions of the 80's period are the very best.
Can we continue the list ?
