The sound is really weird and the music contains some electronic loops, although it has been said the album would be purely acoustic/symphonic. What do you think? Back to top

Maybe a demo, but I don't think so. The track, as I remember, was found on eMule, so the probability of this being a fake is very high IMHO. Back to top

Ugo Group: Members Posts: 5495 Joined: April 2000 Posted: Sep. 04 2007, 17:19 This sounds more like early Depeche Mode (or maybe Robert Miles!! ), than M.O.  Especially those swishing cymbals don't sound Oldfieldian at all. So this is very definitely a fake, most likely by someone who's trying to put something 'Oldfieldian' on a standard "dance piano" item by including tubular bells on it. nitrus Group: Members Posts: 6 Joined: Feb. 2006 Posted: Sep. 04 2007, 18:11 Hehe, you're right but it does have some Oldfield elements - piano with a dance rhythm, etc. It would seem like a really bad effort but not totally unlike him. I hope the album will be a blast. He hasn't released anything really cool since The Songs Of Distant Earth. Yeah, there has been some very nice music from Mike since then, but nothing TRULY great, if you know what I mean. Back to top
