I wish there were a few books about Mike Oldfield to read,i mean there are books about almost everyone else you can think of,loads about The Floyd,The Beatles etc, which is good, but why none about Mike,i know there have been some written in the past, but they are mostly unavailable,i think it is time for a proper biography to be written and released,he does deserve it,and there is so much to write about Mike and his music. So why do we have nothing?

I understand what you mean but to say we have nothing is a slight exageration. There is the excellent making of TB book and also the Sean Moraghan biography which I personaly think is quite a truthfull insight into Mike's career but it's not exactly comprehensive. But you're right he does more than deserve an official biography.
I wish the Annie Nightingale book that was planned with Mike's full cooperation could be finnished and brought out, it sounded potentialy very, very good.
With this being Mike's 30th aniversary I would of expected there to be slightly more interest by the media, in terms of books, TV documentries etc even magazine articles but there seems to be nothing so far which I think is both disappointing and slightly odd.
