I've come up these lyrics, to fit the tune of In Dulci Jubilo   , Christmas time on Hergest Ridge, The air is chilly like your fridge, Dancing there would be cool. A great way to spend your Yule,   . Well I don't think Mike will be calling me to write lyrics for him. This is my second attempt at lyric writing ever. Anyone care to add the next verse? -------------- I'm going slightly mad, It finally happened, I'm slightly mad , just very slightly mad If you feel a little glum to Hergest Ridge you should come. However, when I switched to 'Ding dong merrily on high', this popped out unbidden: Ding dong merrily on high The Tubular Bells are ringing Ding dong verily, oh my, That's Maggie Reilly singing. Oh-oh-oh-oh ..(etc.) .... oh-ma dawn eggyowl On Hergest Ridge it's snowing. Oh-oh-oh-oh ..(etc.) .... oh-ma dawn eggyowl The moonlight shadow's growing. Back to top
