I have just been searching for/ couldn't find, a previous thread in which (think it was member Mink Stoles, sorry if remembered wrongly) a link to Pandora site was posted. I really enjoyed sampling this site, on which you type in your favourite artistes/tracks and so on, and it then plays music it thinks you'll like at random. Unfortunately,to carry on using this site & hearing new music, you must register & can only do this if you're a US resident . It will not accept English post codes, so does anyone know if there's another similar site that does please?

After entering Steve Hillage, I discovered the existance of 'Ozric Tentacles', MARVELLOUS! :D

I just entered a fake code as I always do with these American zip thingys...

Yahoo radio (Launchcast) has a UK site, I used to use it but errors kept occuring, I'm sure they have been rectified by now however :)

Thanks for your help Bell(end) :) I've just registered onto Yahoo radio, and first two things it played for me: One Of These Days - Pink Floyd, then Tubular Bells part two ..great start to the morning :D
btw, fuelled on by the want/need to hear more on Pandora I did put fake code in ;) it seemed to be working fine for a time, then went all funny. I thought "serves me right" & "cheats never prosper" or, one thought had been that perhaps my pc was the problem ( been playing up a bit lately).

Anyway, at this point in time I'm happily enjoying my new personal radio station & it seems to be working ok.

The Steve Hillage thing sounds really interesting, could you post a link? Cheers!

Oh, sorry! I meant that upon entering Steve Hillage as the base artist in Pandora, I discovered the band, Ozric Tentacles :)

I can only guess that you haven't heard of them, I strongly recommend them! (I also recommended Amon Tobin though which provoked no response :D)

Good luck with finding obscure and excellent bands/artists, Rich
