Hello!

I started a new song using Fruity Loops, kind of to prove that FL can be used quite well for other music than dance/techno/house.

Here it is:

It is not yet finished, but since I will have no time in the next few days to work on it, I decided to upload it anyway.

Cheers!

Sounds good! :)
Nice melodie and effects! I like it, maybe some more diverse sounding background would be cool, you're still working on it, so no prob I think.

is it sad? hmmm I don't think...maybe a bit melancholic but not sad...or I just don't feel that

it's an interresting piece I kinda like the composition but also a bit more work on production could be good :D

oh well you're still working on it...good luck! and looking forward to hear a final version ;)

Hey Branko
Very nice chord progression.
It sounds really nice, but for my ears, it lacks a leading melody. as if its all very nice background for some solo instrument to take the focus and lean on those utopian
scales.

as for sound- theres a high freq that doesnt come accross nicely and even ruins the calm/sad atmosphere your chords create.

good luck

Thanks for your comments.

Maybe it's interesting to mention that I made all "instruments" except the harps from "scratch", using Fruity Loops' internal synthesizer (3xosc) - and harps are of course FL's "Plucked" plugin.

It may sound over-sinthy, but that is what I was aiming for.

The high frequency Yuval mentioned, I think, is a Rhodes piano playing it's own silent counterpart to the melody, but it doesn't do it any good, I agree.

Anyway...thanks for listening!
