Im thinking of either getting a Boss GT8 or Roland GR-20 multi effects pedal. Does anyone have any experience with these pedals or similar, and which would you recommend for versatility in aquiring a oldfield-esque sound with?

the sounds i would like vary from the early knebworth concert era, to the sg sounds in five miles out, to his more recent tubular bells 3 PRS sound.

Hmmm

Boss GT8 is just a multi effects pedal. Roland GR-20 is a guitar synthesizer. My vote goes for the Roland.

Anyway, don't take my opinion too seriously: remember I'm a percussionist, not a guitarist
