I wrote a blog entry about this just a couple of days ago... and thought some of you might be interested: http://www.benbarden.com/view_article.php?id=843

What do you think?  Am I totally right, totally wrong, or just a bit confused?  ;)

Hi Ben.  Single tracks lead to interest which leads to albums which leads to more albums which leads to collections and fans. The internet has introduced me to loads of new stuff..... but there is a whole set of people NOT on the net.  Not sure about them????

Hi Captain! :)

I see your logic... I just think that a digital album has more scope than an album limited by the size of the disc it comes on.

As for the people who aren't online... that's a tricky one to answer.  It seems as though more people are getting online all the time... and CDs may eventually die out completely.  Whether that will happen though, I don't know...
