No, don't worry, the title IS nonsense on purpose. It's actually a very literal translation of a South-Brazilian expression. And it matches the South-Brazilian style of the song, too, driven by accordeon and a snappy, joyful rhythm. This is also part of my upcoming album, and it follows "Tetralogy" - which kinda explains the outburst of canned laughter in the beginning, extracted from famous Mexican TV show El Chavo Del Ocho. There are also faint sounds of people talking and feedback, since I left the microphone turned on and recorded sounds of my family talking in the kitchen. This to give it a "homemade" feel. :)

Initial plans consisted of me ranting over the song, with a strong accent, but I scrapped it. I couldn't get the voice right, and it would ruin the song instead of making it funny. So, you keep the music. Hope you like this one!

Good call. I'll fix the link to avoid more confusion.

It's cute and enjoyable, wish I had a big skirt on so I could twirl around in it.

Tracy.

Like the chatter.

I like the song, but don't care for the first few seconds of distortion.  Would rather it go right into the music.  And, I would love to hear a version with you ranting with the accent.

IMO the start of this track is far from annoying because it leaves you to imagine what will come next. Then, the accordian ect kicks in with it's fine, fun melody.Other background sounds keep continuity & in so doing, the whole thing works.
Good job there Sir M. :)

Well, thanks y'all for the comments! I'm glad to hear them, and also happy with the positive reaction. This might be one of the 'happiest' songs I've written so far, and I'm glad that it worked! Though in the context of the album, the song might gain a different meaning.

And about the chatter, I assure you that there's nothing questionable in it. It's all in Portuguese, btw. In the very start, you hear my sister talking with my aunt on the phone about scarfs, and at the end, she's talking about my niece answering the phone. And in case I misunderstood you, the 15 seconds of noise at the start are just very, very bad canned laughter.
