Happy New Year 2010!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36wjsl_2zc0

2009 has been rainy for us Mike Oldfield fans, we can be proud of our patience. Let's not try to predict how 2010 will be packaged, and wish we'll ultimately be rewarded.

We have started to work on the tubular.net backend in 2009, you can see the first results in the articles section. This will allow us to easily search, translate, and share any data about Mike. But the best part of the site cannot be modelized: the forums. Thank you so much for visiting and participating, welcome to the new 2009 members and admin, and we always keep a sweet little spot for people who may want to come back say hi.

All the best for you too Olivier! Keep up the good work of modifying parts of Tub.net. A big task but both yourself and Admin keep this site operational and always up to date. Your work is greatly appreciated, and I am looking forward to events as 2010 unfolds! Deb

hey, tubular friends!
thanks for all the work you have done so far!  tubular.net is simply magnificent!  let's hope for some new special editions without all the tubular hazzle that many of us had to experience.  anyway, i wish both the tubular.net team and all fans a wonderful new year!
regards,
klaus

Yep, here’s to a great Tubular year with, hopefully, some sign of a new project from 'Sir Michael'.

An excellent site this is, especially for us lifelong fans!

All the best for 2010 from Braveheart country to all members, and of course to Mike for the reason why we are here.

I sure hope so. 2010. That was actually a very good movie(Arthur C. Clark/TSODE tie-in), sequel to 2001. It is rare to see/find now but I love it. The way Roy Sheider narrates the movie via transmissions to his wife from Jupiter. The very sexy 40-ish Helen Miren(sp). I'll be honest, the last ten years for me just get worse every year. I hope, and pray(I don't use that word often) I can find some peace of mind and life this year. A nicer dwelling, return to composing. We should all be glad for what we have. There is always "better". But be thankful for what u have. I guess I am. This place(tube-net) has been a blessing. As are all of my Tubularians. "Gee Jim, shut up before you make us hurl"...

Yeah, happy New Year to everyone at Tubular.net.... still a really great website to visit. I have not looked in much lately but I always come back to it. So thanks to all concerned for keeping it running. ( I had not seen that clip of Mike in the thunder storm before - so I enjoyed that! )

looking forward to the postage stamp issue in a few days, I have ordered my set and will keep an eye open for letters everywhere after that date. It will be good to see a masterpiece in miniature I think!  :)

Yes, hi and a great new year to everyone.

Wish I could somehow arrange for Mike to make a resolution to give up on TB and remasters and release something new this year :)

It just depends on if he can get hungry again. Like all journalist saying he cannot compose a new great album like ommadawn. "Oh Yeah?!".
