I was surprised by the choice of title for this album. Either Francisco knows his gaelic (or whatever it is) or he just stole the title from Mike. Or was he inspired by the Amarok player?

Anyway, this is a great artist and I'm planning on buying the album.

Sounds like an out take from Aliens I guess Mike wasn't
"fortunate" enough to copyright the name :/

I guess he couldn't. He didn't invent the word... it is a common noun (not a personal one) in the Inuit language, meaning "wolf". :) However, the fact that Mr. Lopez's work is one single uninterrupted piece makes me a little bit suspicious about the fact that there wasn't at least a faint glimpse of inspiration from Mike's work... :D

I'll try to dig out an article from the Australian age, review of Amarok  .the writer states amarok is Gaelic for fortunate but he may be wrong will scan and post in articles section
