Hi,

Just thought I'd let you know I've got a new excerpt from my next album, Endless Lives, on my MySpace page. I've been playing with a new orchestra package and completely reorchestrated a 5 minute section of the album using it.

Please excuse the occasional pops and clicks towards the end - my PC got a bit overwhelmed!

The link is:

The track is called Endless Lives Demo (Excerpt 2)

Thanks in advance for taking the time to listen.

Cheers,
Terry.

I like the orchestral arrangement a lot, and I also like the melody itself.
The only "flaw" if you could call it that way is that there is as for what I can listen there is not any main melodic line, but as far as I can see this kind of composition does not require one.

But really, i'm amazed by the level of your orquestration skills, I'm still far far away from making something sound like that.

Thank you for sharing this song with us, and I'll be waiting for your album ;)

Thanks for the compliments!

Regarding my orchestration....

I took music as a subject at school when I was a teenager (over 20 years ago!!!!;) and some of the lessons must have stayed in my head, but most of the credit goes to the orchestra virtual instrument I use - East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra. The samples are marvellous, the different options for instrument 'articulations' are numerous, and I've only been using it for 3-4 weeks so I can only hope the sound can get better!

Cheers,
Terry.
