As we wait patiently for November we need to be occupied!!If anyone is remotely interested in what it is about music that has such a powerful influence on us, I can really recommend this book, having very nearly finished it ~ Music and the Mind by Anthony Storr. He looks at many different aspects of music, how & why we listen, what happens inside our minds etc, it reminded me of similar discussions that have taken place here on Tubular.net in the past, all sparked off by Mike's music. It's very worthwhile.

Is this topic intended as a general repository for ways to pass time until MOTS? If not, I won't cry if the following gets zapped by the admins.

Three months out
Just ties knickers in knots
Got to get the album out
MO's new CD - anticipating MOTS!

So far so, far so far so, No vem ber's so far so

Hello everyone. I suppose you think that nothing much is happening at the moment. Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha. Well, that's what I want to talk to you all about; updates. Now, updates normally happen in the "News" forum. But as we all know, updates are just big teases. You know, once these things really get started, it's jolly hard to stop them again. However, as we have all come this far, I think, under the circumstances the best solution is that we all just keep posting. Let's keep these topics in sight, never a dead-thread. Let's remember that this board wants fresh postings. I feel here, in this forum, and throughout the board, we are crying out for postings, postings. We never want to hear these words "no new posts". I know we all want to sit down. I know you want to take it easy. Of course we're looking for the MOTS. Of course we're looking for music clips.

Isn't that tubular? Do you know, I really feel I could dance. Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha... (dancing) Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha... tubular... ha-ha-ha... (CRASH!)

You're too kind, olracUK. Unless you were being facetious, in which case... yeah, it's kinda scary what pops out between 2 and 3 AM.
