Just had a musing,

I've known about L+ S for about 4 months now, and have been waiting for it. This is the first MO album release that I have consciously gone through... and I've got to say... all the anticipation leading up to it and me going: "Oh it's gonna be so GOOOD!!" really didn't help my opinion. What a let down. (I have mentioned more about that elsewhere.

I think in future it might be an idea for Mike to sneak up on us (That is, if he ever makes any more music (well, you never know))

What do you think?

Everyone's interpretation is different, and everyone has a right to that opinion. There is no "right" one, I am adding this post to communicate my thoughts to share them with like-minded souls who will be able to comment in good nature.

I think I could not disagree more.
Btw try listening to "Blackbird" while watching your Mediaplayers visualisations. Its the first proper use I found for the visualisations and I think I now understand Mikes description too.

I din't think the album was a let down at all. Very good IMO.

I agree that hype and anticipation is tedious, snippets of info, tracks recorded from a Polish radio station!!!

Too much scrutiny on his look in the pictures, the tracks we heard before release, the use of technology. STOP please  :/

i've noticed that with the onset of the internet and technology and communication in general, people know about albums before they're released way more than they used to.

and then stuff leaks out, or "previews" are put out there because people want to sample it before they hear the real thing.

or it ends up on p2p sharing programs somehow.

honestly, i liked it a lot better when there wasn't hype about upcoming albums, unless it was right away - like in a few weeks or so. not months before hand.
