Ants World

Go to this set of ringheads at position 10 on the map. Touch the nearby green crystals so you can shoot rings.

There are two ways into Ants World, and they each give you a different version of the World.

Method 1

Stand well back from the central ringhead and fire rings at it. If you're far enough away, the ants will begin their journey but won't take you with them. You'll then be free to roam about their world. This version of Ants World is a bit sparse. The volcano is there, and the barriers have gone so you can explore everywhere, but there are no daliphants or distant shores. You can go into the ant tunnel and explore it freely, and come out again (as long as you don't actually enter the ant cavern). One particularly weird event is that if you go deep into the tunnel and then come out again, you'll be surprised by the view (see here). While you're in the tunnel, the sky (and also the sea) changes from blue to black, producing a very desolate landscape.

Method 2

Set your speed to 3 (just press the '3' key while the game is running - this is the maximum possible speed). Stand well back as before, and fire rings at the central ringhead. Once you see they're on target, run as fast as you can towards the lake (to your right as you face the ringheads). You'll find that the barriers have disappeared, and this time the daliphants and distant shores are there and can be visited.

It also works if you point directly at the sky and fly upwards. You take a whole lot of time to get back down, but it's well worth it. :)
