The rumours say that Mike is recording a new album, does anybody have any information on how things are progressing?

No official news as yet, but he's been working hard, and it's not unlikely that he'll have something to show for it later this year.

He seems committed to FL Studio as his main recording and sequencing software (he's on their adverts at the moment...), so I think we can expect the album to take a fairly electronic direction.

I've got some friends who are using FL Studio to create also prog rock stuff,so there's a chance of something progressive for fans who like it.

I think it's going to be a tech/eletronica album in a Mike Oldfieldish way

If he keeps chilling again and again, he might as well call himself Mike Coldfield.

I remember reading about "Simple melodies and atmospheres". That doesn't necessarily mean Chill Out, does it? I mean, if there are melodies...

FL studio can be used for a lot more than just what it appears to be for,it can be used for Rock etc.
