Anybody who listen to Aphex Twin? I got two albums of him, Selected Ambient works II and Drukqs. Most of all I like the ambient, relaxing tracks like Stone in focus, strotha tynhe, rhubarb etc. Really good music!

I also like the track Rhubarb, probably my favourite from that album. Selected Ambient Works 1985-1992 is worth a look too. His best known songs are probably "Windowlicker" and "Come To Daddy" which are a bit more abrasive (particularly the latter) but technically quite amazing. Oh, and the videos are well-known too for being a bit disturbing. If you are looking at the videos online be aware that the unbleeped version of the Windowlicker video (NOT the song) has quite a lot of adult language. Hope that makes sense.

If you like the more Ambient side of things, you would probably also enjoy anything by the Boards Of Canada.

I have very little of Aphex Twin - namely Selected Ambient Works vol. II, Come to Daddy EP and Windowlicker EP. Very intriguing and smart music. I intend to get more of him when I can. I also like Boards of Canada and Squarepusher very much. The latter's Hello Everything is an excellent album.

I'm very surprised!!!  :O

I just read the Wiki article about Aphex Twin's Rubber Johnny video clip, and it mentioned Sally Oldfield as one of the three producers!

YES I saw that too, Sally Oldfield on Rubber Johnny. Could it possibly be the same person? It couldn't be?!

This is the only thing I know about Aphex Twin except didn't they do something with Kate Bush once? I think it was called Utah Saints or something.

Utah Saints used a sample of Kate Bush's "Cloudbusting" on their track "Something Good", with her approval. There's no relation between them and Aphex Twin though, as far as I'm aware.

As for the Rubber Johnny thing, I seriously doubt it's the same Sally Oldfield.

I've gotten to like Windowlicker after some listens, and now I have Drukqs and Richard D. James Album to complement the first Selected Ambient Works album.

I have to say, that guy's music pretty much takes the cake!  :D
