Greetings everyone,
My best friend and I grew up listening a lot (and I mean a lot) to Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells, Hergest Ridge, Ommadawn, Incantations and Amarok. His music had and still has a huge influence and remains a source of inspiration. Later on we discovered early Tangerine Dream and everything by Dead Can Dance. In 2008 we founded Arduinna, an audiovisual project. We were offered to release our debut album Winter Ruins in 2013 on Seventh Crow Records, a label based in Paris. We received quite some good reviews by online magazines. Like Hergest Ridge the music of Winter Ruins was inspired by a region where we used to live: the forests and hills of the Ardennes in Belgium and France. Walking and hiking there inspired our music and videos. Feel free to watch our videos and listen to our music here:
