I guess I ran out of things to put up on Rapidshare long ago after Hergest Ridge, Consequences of Indecisions, etc. I'm not sure the article targets rapidshare, but more like Limewire, Utorrent, Edonkey, etc......There have been some references to all since I became a member here. I'm hearing of ISP's putting a "cap" on the number of gigs per month downloaded and other plans.....which I don't like either. Just thought those of you on the east side of the water might want to read this and watch your backs.

Thanks for the article, that was interesting to read about and learn how things are in UK for this type of thing...each country has its own rules on the subject, and for me it's important to know since I'll be moving there soon.

I loved it when House MD said "As we speak there is much internet porn waiting to be downloaded".......

From recent articles, and radio 4, my understanding is that the UK government want the ISP's to act as Big Brother for them. That way the Gov't can say it isn't them spying on our internet activities!

And it wont be the Gov't capping our usage as punishment. Mind you, it just shows how far we have come in a few years. that with-holding or restricting internet access is now seen as a punishment.

But it seems this isn't actually happening much. My #1 son d/l'd a few movies before I caught him and no nasty warnings have come my way yet.

The answer is 42 - but what is the question?
