i like mike oldfield, and i have all his albums, but hearing to all of them constantly has bored me a bit. i would like to know about other artists on the same way, with similar music, and as close to mike's music as it were possible. i don't want to know about what today has been called new age. i hope you knew what i'm refeiring to, and i wait for some answer. thanks

You might find something useful in this discussion over at oldfield.info: see here.

But if you're going to exclude everything to which some people might attach the label 'New Age', then you'll miss some good stuff. Some folks (absurdly) even refer to Mike's music as 'New Age' don't they?
