TubularBelle Group: Members Posts: 1487 Joined: April 2004 Posted: Feb. 28 2005, 18:57 Am going to try and attach some drawings my sister created when she wrote a book about Mike back in 1991, good timing as his latest album was also his last with Virgin. She simply copied all the album sleeve notes and then added her own unique artwork which came to her as she listened to Mikes music. The most interesting one is the one of the intertwined faces floating in clouds which was created a year before the release of the Sentinel film clip from TBII which featured the musicians sitting in the back of faces floating through clouds, freaky huh! TubularBelle Group: Members Posts: 1487 Joined: April 2004 Posted: Aug. 29 2005, 01:02 Here is a better picture of my new avatar, taken just yesterday of me holding the oil painting my brother did for me for my 40th birthday. Of course it is difficult to see the detail in a picture but this is only the 7th painting he ever did, the first 6 were all of musical instruments including a guitar with the TB symbal wrapped around the neck of it, and it is very very good. He did 3 of them, one for himself and one for my sister who did the artwork in this thread. She recently completed an oil painting of TB in a fractured look, she compared it to cubism but I don't really know what that is. It kind of looks like if you got a picture of TB and cut it up into squares and then put it back together crooked, it is absolutely brilliant, will try and get a picture altho I heard she may have destroyed it during a temper tantrum to do with me because she knew I liked it so much, family!!!! And all this came about from me moving out when I was 16 and leaving behind my record of TB, my brother and sister were 9 an 11 at the time. Tracy.
