The tracksheet included on the inside sleeve of Five Miles Out is a tantalising glimpse of how Oldfield plans and structures his work.
But does anyone know, are their copies/photos in circulation out there of other older tracksheets? I'm thinking specifically of the Ommadawn one from that footage where we see Mike at his mixing desk with a box of crayons beside him. And in the BBC TV Tubular Bells performance from 1973 there's the briefest glimpse of what looks like a big tracksheet stuck to the top of the tape deck near the mixing desk guys. I'd love to see these!
Anyone got them? Or know where to look for them?
