I might yell if all my oldfield was stolen, too. However, I live in a country where the only reason they might steal my oldfield CD's would be to use the jewel boxes for something else.

hi all
i checked up on the prices for the remastered mike oldfield albums and it works out to be the same price to buy the remastered virgin albums on line as it is in a record store £11 per remastered cd.  as for his wea albums they work out cheaper online, but i don't own a credit card and cannot order online.

I'm really sorry for you. It's an awful thing to be burgled. I know from experience.

I don't know if this helps, but I was in spain over christmas, and I managed to pick up Songs of distant earth (the version with the Mac videos) and Tubular Bells 2003, both for 8 euros each. If you are planning a holiday there or know someone who is, you might be able to rebuild your collection quite cheaply.

I know it won't change the fact that you got burgled, but myself and plenty of other members really do feel for you.

Please check your P/M.

Oh God Richard, thats terrible, did they take anything else or just focus on your MO collection because that would narrow the suspects down. I'm sure if I was burgled I wouldn't have to worry about my MO collection being touched, or my doll collection even though it is worth thousands of dollars.

Sorry about the loss Richard that has got to be rough.
I know how much I would hate loosing my Oldfield collection, and hope that you didn't have too great losses aside from that.
The best prices I have found for oldfield cd's has been what would be about 10 euro's.
I wish I knew of encouraging words I to say, but I can only think of how I wish you good luck and fortune in the future and that I really admire people who manage make the best of trials and get beyond the natural feelings.
