Ok, I tried to make a Celtic style melody, but ofcourse it's not authentic. And it's only a computerized sketch. Any comments, good or evil, are good.

It's not Rick Astley.

Very nice! The tune is beautiful, I guess the arrangement could be a bit more busy though. I could actually imagine some electric guitar at the end...

Thanks Holger. I have done an arrangement with more instruments and even drums earlier, but it would require someone more skillful   to mix it. With these artificial instruments the timing, tempo and dynamics are too hard to control, so I intensionally kept it as simple as possible. And yes electric guitar would be nice, don't have that either, though.

I wouldn't mind recording that electric guitar for you, if you like. I'm not the world's greatest guitarist but I'm pretty sure I could manage this, it doesn't sound like it's going to be particularly difficult.

Holger has recorded some tasty electric guitar for me. :)
It really brings the track to life.

You can listen to the New Ballad here.
The guitar starts at the second half of the piece so be patient, I'm sure it's worth it.  ;)
