Just stumbled across this apparently Catalan/Spanish band.

They say the word Amarok means wolf in Eskimo. They sound as if their music would be very interesting to listen to or at least some of it. A great discovery, and the Spanish connection is interesting given Mike's popularity within and ties with Spain.

It's strange that they found their name in the same year as Mike's Amarok was released, but just before it. (Maybe that's how Mike got the title.
