I have just been listening to "The Bell"with Billy Connolly doing the vocals,i was just wondering if anyone knew how he came to be involved with TB2,was it Mikes idea to use him,or was it the record company,or Trever Horn, did Mike and Billy have a jam together,i know that Billy Connolly is a very good banjo player?.

The link between Mike and Billy is the producer Clive Banks. I doubt there was a jam. In fact, I don't even know if they've actually met - that version of the bell is just the single version but with the MC part replaced by Billy.
