Actually it's very simple. Go to the canyon. At the beginning you'll find on the right a wooden picknick table with the insect on it.
Now keep this picknick table in mind. Follow the river of the canyon but stay on the right at the same height where you saw the insect (i.e. don't go in the gap where the river is). Just before the center of the canyon where those paper flyers are, you'll find an exact same picknick table with the blue moth on it.
