Viper - excellent & impressive job
To be honest - the direction & concept is really not my cup of tea, but I have to say that the production, sound, playing are all great and professional to my untrained ear.
Goodluck with your CD, Im sure there are many who like this kind of music. very original
good luck

Wow, you've amazed me again, Viper. I loved the original version, but this version is better on every level. The guitar sound is so much better and I like the happier ending and joyous chanting. And I liked the new guitar improv going on as it went along. I love your stuff. Keep writing! This kind of music is what motivates me personally musically. So thank you :).

This has a lot of genius production and ingenuity, skilled playing, and wonderous imagination. 2 thumbs way up!! I hope you're writing an entire album with this atmosphere. It's this type of feeling that made me love TSODE so much and why it's my favourite MO album.

Not having heard the first version I cannot say this is an improvement. But it could not have been all that bad.

I LIKE THIS VERY, VERY MUCH!

Please continue.....

Nice stuff again, Viper! Sounds like something definitely worthy of adding to Cafe Del Mar's playlist! Nice playing and production again!

Viper,

I can't seem to link to the new version.  Always liked the initial version of Blue Zone and would love to hear the new stuff.

Do you have a website?

I've got a few of your racks Viper, and loved them all..both from a musical perspective and because they are so wel produced.

But the links aren't working now. Do you have space on your acidplanet page for them?

(I wonder if fastguy101 has a big motorbike and a new album out soon?)

I checked the AcidPlanet site in hope that Viper's newer version would be there.

Fastguy101 is an old username I established back when I was still running marathons but I like the idea of the motorbike for an album cover!  Picture "Easy Rider" (Dennis Hopper) perhaps driving off a cliff for a visual.

I'm putting together a new home studio setup and hope to take advantage of all the new technology since my "chops" are terribly rusty on the keyboard.  I have the ideas in my head and need to get them out.

Anybody have this version floating around on your hard drives? I've lost it in the sands of time :(. Really would like it on my Walkman's playlist.

I was sure I still had this, but can't find it now. :(

I have Viper's album which is just brilliant - when he's not copying Mike he's still fantastic. Not bad for a bedroom made album.

So if anyone else has this Blue Zone track -i'd love to get it to.
