I mean Burzum is dark and to easy...like some kid playing but it have emotions,and its good. Very good. It's a shame that the guy is a complete idiot (and a murderer to that), but I dig the music. Very atmospheric and without the overproduction that lots of Black Metal suffers from. larstangmark Group: Members Posts: 1767 Joined: Mar. 2005 Posted: Oct. 09 2006, 12:59 Listening to Burzum and Mike Oldfield is an odd combination, but I like a lot of Death-/Black-metal, especially the stuff from the early 90s; Mordbid Angel, Mayhem, Darkthrone etc. I've found that many black-metallers enjoy Ommadawn and Hergest Ridge. Their singer was called Fish and their name was taken from Tolkien (just like Burzum). They still exist, but with a different singer.
