When I saw the 'Art in heaven'-DVD, I wondered who is this really good-looking female bass player. Later I found out she is "Carrie Melbourne" from the band "Melbourne". The band got 2 cds: "Indian Ocean" and "Night Star", they have got a website (www.melbourne-music.com, you can listen there to a few snippets).
Carry Melbourne also has got a solo cd named "the dark art of the chapman stick".
She playes the bass and the stick really beautiful, I love the music. When I heard the first few mp3-snippets from their homepage I knew I must have these cds.

You can read also an interview with Carrie here:

http://www.globalbass.com/archives/may2001/carrie_melbourne.htm

There she tells also something about touring with Mike.

Interesting fact - Carrie Melbourne is married to Doug Melbourne who is a talented keyboard player who used to play in top Genesis tribute band 'ReGenesis'.

Before one ReGenesis gig at London's LA2 (or Mean Fiddler I suppse it is now!;), Carrie and Doug did a support set, during which Carrie did a wonderful solo rendition of 'North Point'... Would kill to hear that again!
