anyone else heard a track on the new Coldlay album called Strawberry Swing? the guitar riff sounds just like something mike would do
theres also other little bits in the album that sound oldfield ish

IMHO Coldplay have sounded U2-ish on X&Y and they still do (partly), even if Brian Eno's collaboration and influence can be clearly heard all over the album.

The "Strawberry Swing" riff doesn't sound Oldfield-ish at all to me. It rather sounds like U2 playing something out of a country & western song. It sounds like The Dalton Brothers. :laugh:
