I think it would be great to have something with Eric Clapton in an "all-guitare-album" :)

Mike Oldfield + Robert Fripp(King Crimson) doing ab fab Soundscapes...and amazing guitar solos...

Mike Oldfield + Orbital(although the band splitted up last year) - if Mike wants to be on his electronic mood...

Just come across a Canadian Band Called "THE COWBOY JUNKIES" today .. The Female Singer sounds like a good
bet... I only listened to a couple of Streams off a Album
called "The Trinity Sessions"  Sounds like they could do
a nice gig together with Mike.. Anyone else heard there
Stuff !! :D

Mike played on Robert's "Rock Bottom". However, Robert Wyatt is great at singing over other people's songs (listen to the songs he sang for a band called Ultramarine in the early 90s). I think he could do wonders with some of Mike's more recent tracks (in the style of L&S and T3s Lunas) + add some cornet and organ perhaps. They should do one together!

Enya, as already previously mentioned, or even perhaps Lisa Gerrard (would be interesting with her voice and the screaming guitar)

Sting would also be interesting, that could have a really different energy to it.

My dream would be to see/hear Mike work with Moby as I have mentioned several times before, but I was watching, only the last 10 minutes unfortunately, the Concert for George (Harrison) and I immediately wondered about Mike being up there with Eric Clapton, Jeff Lynne and Paul, but also it would be great to see Sting up there as well. Have seen him LIVE and he is a consumate performer, and did a fabulous 45 minute Beatles medley. Also looks great (he's a very healthy man :D ) in a singlet, like Mike!

Mike and Robert Plant :) .  As for collaborations with other guitarists Mike and Brian May would be interesting as would Mike and Mick Taylor, or Dave Gilmour :).

I think we all have another artist we would like to see Mike with, but i just don't think that he will do any big colaboration with anyone, by that i mean a full album, he maybe colaborate with someone on a song in the way he did with Jon Anderson. But by his own admission he likes to do everything himself, and does'nt colaborate with others well. So, i can't ever see him doing a full blown guitar duet album with Knopfler or Clapton or Gilmour for example, no matter how good it would sound.

VANGELIS!!!

YEAH BABY YEAH!!!

*Compositionally though - not just another track composed by someone else with Oldfield on guitar - as pleasant as that is of course...
