A few years ago I composed a few electronic tracks which did quite we on mp3.com. Recently I decided to upload 3 of these tracks to GarageBand.com.
It was in doing so that I listened to them again for the first time in ages having recently rediscovered MO's early work, which I was very fond of as a kid. It was in this context that I realised how heavily my tracks were influenced by Mike's work, when I had previously thought they were all me. Obviously my subconscious mind had other ideas.
Well, see what you think, they are not traditional Oldfield style recordings but I think you may be able to pick up one or two obvious influences.
