im a little confused as to which guitars mike uses are which. which is the wood grained brown guitar? and which is the red one with the white thing on it...thx

You mean the one that's a kind of brownish-yellow, with the tiger stripe effect top?

That's a Paul Reed Smith. Mike has several, the one he's had for longest being a Custom 24, which was built for him in 1989. There are two others which he also uses a fair amount - another (newer) Custom 24 in a cherry sunbust finish, which has a Roland synth pickup fitted to it, and a McCarty Thinline (that's the one with the violin-like 'f holes' in the top).

The red one is a Fender Stratocaster, from around 1962.

To give some more details, the one with the vilon holes on the side is a McCarthy Hollowbody 1. I Have not seen the gk2 on any of his PRS, however, on TBII he plays a sunburst strato with a custom pickguard (red) that has the GK2 installed on it
