I know there is no 'parts' in Crises, but I only did one part of it. It's the 5th piece of music in Crises. I was fooling around with my Roland MT-200 hooked up to my GT-6 guitar pedal and came up with a great Crises synth sound so I had to do my favourite part in it!

While it contains the 'Crises' feel, I did little things that Mike did on other albums. No themes or anything, just instruments and the way they play etc. You may not notice them, but there's influences from Hergest Ridge, Incantations, and even Bagpipe Guitars to a degree.

Who said that Crises hasn't 'parts'? As with all of Mike's long works, I've always thought of it as divided in movements, in this case six of 'em. :)

Joking aside: really cool piece. You're really one of the best ones in here, Brandon.

That's really nice of you to say that. Thank you very much!

Really? I put them in thinking of that part on Incantations Part 1 and on Hergest Ridge Part 1. I guess it's a matter of taste. Probably maybe shouldn't have made it come in a that point. It does sound a little strange there maybe I should have waited to put them in after that part.

Thanks, everybody! I also must tell you that while making this, I was fooling around with the sounds and came up with a cool instrumental of my own (finally more original work! ). I've got a couple ideas for it and sorted them out. It should be cool when it's finished.
