This is my first Oldfield song, I mainly did it to experiment with eqs and structure. The beginning is alot like Tubular Bells but I have tried to give it my own feel.

Hope you like it thanks to Jammer and c_haese for suggesting place and format to host songs.

Please comment, the more negative you are now the better the future songs (gulp) will be,

thanks,

Fourth Age.

Cylindrical

Sounds great
Good eq seperation
Try to place bass in the middle of the stereo pan
and I'd go easier on the reverb. way esier.
I love the C part :)
great ending. (exposedish)

I like it very much, even the reverb. :) However, the end is loud a little IMHO - compared to the part before it.

Enjoy cylindrical.  Faithful to the MO feel but it is original.  I like it's advance, some tracks posted here never go anywhere.  I'm not sure about the 1:36 deviation but it is true MO style - okay I like it.  Has that sense of fun and adventure that MO does well.  It has a nice progression.
The end : Well that is MO.  I think it kinda takes away from the piece because it's such a relacing piece only to get woken up at the end.  But here I don't like MO much when he strikes a beautiful piece only to stamp of like a thwarted lover in some other mad direction.  This is close to a commercial track.   Well done.
