Sorry, no high quality sound, but remembers me the age of Incantations and Platinum. Two pieces mixed: "Vuelo Nocturno" (Night flight) and "Full Stop". Composed in 1994 the first part and 1997 the second one, mores rithmic. Strange music , almost for me. I made with Korg01 and Cubase.
Inspired too in Philip Glass, Debussy... Maybe.

Very nice work. Could easily have been a cutout from Incantations (leftover doesn't sound very nice, I think).
I'm not so sure about the dhol drums though. They sound great but somehow don't fit in there.
All in all a very nice piece of music.

A very intresting piece... :)

The part in the middle, with those marimba-like sounds sounded very "Oldfieldy". :D The part after that wasn't that good. This "Tha-tata-Tha-tata-Thata..."-thing. Not that good, but not bad. :)

Woah! Suprise. Weird rhythm. Good.

This also reminds me of Nobuo Uematsu's soundtrack for Final Fantasy VIII.

After all, it was a great piece. Something I couldn't do.  ;)

Interesting, nice alternative music, reminds me of Philip Glass' works. :)

Thanks you all.
Oblique, maybe you are in the certain thing. the drums on the last minutes don't fit in there, but i think is not bad idea "normalize" the nervous 10/8 previous rithm.
Delfin, Bill Bobaggins, you are very kind.
Ruzakko, the marimba-like sounds is directly inspired in Incantations, al the same as the remainder of the work.
EeToN ¿Do you think Philip Glass is more alternative than Oldfield?
¿Have you listened "Bones", "The Trap", "Music from the balcony? really strange music.
Both great musicians, different, OK.

Yep, I do think that Philip Glass is more alternative.

I know all the tracks you've mentioned and I agree that they are strange but that's only 2% of Mike's music (and not my very favourite ones even though I definitely like them).

I'd say for me enjoying Philip Glass' music needs certain conditions (e.g. it fits really well Koyaanisqatsi) but I can always - "in summer, winter, rain or sun" - enjoy Mike's. :)

`
And I was talking about the sound, not the rhythm  :D
I have quite a few recordings with this drum sound and I quite like it, but in your recording this perticular rhythm did not 'blend in' to my ears.
