Hi all, Whilst I've been a subscriber to this magazine for a number of years, I've only this year ordered some merchandise. This was back in August, when they took my money but after continual chasing have received nothing.
I was wondering if anybody else has had problems with them?
regards Richard

I ordered the CD of the magazines.  They took ages to arrive, but did eventually.

I had the same problem when ordering stuff - long, long delays and emails unanswered. But they did arrive eventually. I don't know what would have happened if I hadn't kept sending emails though. I'd keep sending.

Korgscrew told me they'd had some problems and I sympathise with that - particularly since they do it all for love and not for profit. But I also hit the same blank wall when I was trying to contribute to the magazine. Eventually (again only after a lot of nudging from me) there was some communication, and eventually my article did appear. However, it's not an experience I'm keen to repeat.

I remember sending some (little bit) angry letters to because of stuff not arriving... that was a few years ago though...
It took a few letters before I got a reply, indeed...

I still wear my blue darkstar sweater/t-shirt on some occasions though... hehehe...

my advise: keep bothering them with letter, asking for a reply!

Hi folks,

Sorry you've had some problems with Dark Star orders.

We're an honest bunch, and always ship what has been ordered, but yes we can be a bit on the slow side sometimes - the situation isn't ideal in that the team contribute to Dark Star unpaid in our spare time, and other pressures such as family and work do of course take priority.

That said, we have had some very long delays recently, which we're looking to put right - we quote 28 days delivery from date of order, and I'm keen to make sure we stick rigidly to that in future. My sincere apologies to those who have been left waiting.

We're always on the lookout for people to help with the creation of content for the magazine and website, which eases the workload for administration and order processing etc., probably now more than ever, so we'd love to hear from anyone who has something to contribute.

If anyone has any concerns, please email me and I will respond as soon as possible.

Best regards and festive greetings to you all!

Chris Dewey
