It looks like tripod have pulled down the amarok website, does anyone have the contact details or the tabs to get them hosted here/or somewhere else? Its a real shame, there were some quality tabs on it :(

I don't know if there's any kind of connection but... the Amarok Mailing List page has also dissapeared (http://www.amarok.f9.co.uk/). It was not updated for a very long time but it included a lot of interesting information and also the MO's FAQ. :'( Hope someone has the files and can up this page again.

The AML site had been outside anyone's control for a long time - the original maintainer had lost access to it (I think lost the password) and had tried unsuccessfully to regain access. I assume the host just finally pulled the plug...

Whether anyone still has the pages, I don't know. We have a copy of the FAQ here. When I get the chance, I'll work on expanding and updating the discography to include more information which is currently not there, which should hopefully go some way towards compensating for what's missing now the Amarok site's gone.

As for the Amarok Tabbing Society, that had been inactive for a very long time. We can certainly host tabs here once they've been found...we just need to get people to come forward with them.

God bless internet archives! You can find the Amarok Tabbing Society here: http://web.archive.org/web....ttp

And the Amarok Mailing List here: http://web.archive.org/web/20040204051755/http://www.amarok.f9.co.uk/

But we should hurry up and copy the tabs. They won't be there forever.

Thank you Korgscrew and Anne for your information. I already know there are other copies of the FAQ in the net (in fact I know a web that includes this FAQ translated into spanish that for me is better as a second option ;) ) but other sections are unique and include very interesting information about albums, songs and rarities.

Once again thank you to you both :)
