Does anyone know any info about Puma´s support regarding Mike during the Discovery years?
Why this support happened, since he´s not an athete?

Just curious!

During that time he was very much into playing squash.
He mentioned it in nearly every interview.
(I even remember having read about it in '83)
Perhaps that is the connection?

Mike loves sports...we all know that...swimming,running,mountain bike, tennis, table tennis,squash...check out the interviews...

But there must be a reason for that...his popularity in Germany(since Puma is german)...dunno...

I don't like sport....  :p

Mike did mention in one interview in the early 80's that he also like to be sponsored by Guinness, because he loved (and still loves) the beer. And by the devil, he was sponsored by Guinness in the picture with the Guinness "piano" ;)

You probably have seen that picture I'm sure of it Tati.

Dutch beer is better  :p

No, I do like Palm (Belgium), Hertog Jan (Dutch or Belgium?) and Guinness. And I absolutely hate Dutch beer (Heineken and Grolsch).
