I've seen her on the Buzzcocks and similar progs, and she seems a nice kid, and she has a sense of humour, but her songs are irritating, and her lyrics are bloody stupid.

I find her music is just a bit too 'sweet', it has no edge to it. She is though very pretty and I supppose I'd rather hear her than some of the rappers that get so much air play.

But I really like KT Tunstall, I only have the single 'Suddenly I See'  and this is superb...so much energy and life. Must get the album soon.

It seems that over the last years it takes other artists to get Mike Batt back into writing new songs. If that's what it takes, so be it.
But I'd like to see him produce a new album of his own. The last one 'Arabesque' dates from 1995.
And I don't like Katie Melua.....
