I had never had a copy of Amarok X-Trax on my hands but once I had the opportunity of hear the promo CD with the same name. This promo was given for free with the Insight magazine and could also be use to have a discount buying Amarok. This promo CD includes 3 of the 5 excerpts of Amarok X-Trax, the 1st, the 2nd and the 5th ones. The tracks on this CD are the excerpts compressed between these indexes:
Track 1: 0:00-3:05
Track 2: 22:04-26:20
Track 3 (5): 54:24-60:02
There's also another album that includes excerpts from Amarok called Auszüge Aus Dem Neuen Album (that means something like 'excerpts from the new album' ). This CD also includes 5 excerpts which are different ones from the excerpts included on Amarok X-Trax. Some of these tracks were also included on the singles and maxisingles of Heaven's Open (excerpts 1 and 5) and Gimme Back (excerpts 2 and 3).
